Time flies when you are raising twins, moving into a new state, town, church, and school.
I can't believe it has been over a year since I last posted a blog!
The closing on our house happened on May 23rd and we have been living in a construction zone ever since. I "stole" my sister's children (all 4 of them) last summer and we had a wonderful time, just being together!
The twins finished Kindergarten with smiles and have grown into such wonderful little people that they make me smile daily with their expressions and reflections!
Summer is in full swing and we have already made the 1st of a few road trips to TX to see friends and a high school graduation. 14.5 hours going and 15.5 hours coming back. The girls are "Road Warriors" through and through. I can't imagine being on the road as much as we have been in their lifetime without them gaining a love for the "road trip".
I have met a lot of new people, made a few friends that could be great friends and a few that will just be passing friends.
I gave up chicken, beef, and pork in January. I eat seafood from time to time and reduce the amount of cheese and cow's milk products. One of my daughters has also decided to not eat meat any more, I have to admit that makes me proud. I am also equally proud of my other daughter for deciding that she "likes meat" and continuing to eat meat with her father...
'Til next time
