5am ramblings

So, it's allergy season!

Thank GOD I don't have allergies, my twins are not as fortunate.
Their primary symptom is runny noses with the persistent cough.

We fight a never ending battle it seems, but with a little Claritin and some spoons, we are making some headway. Good thing they don't mind taking their medicine.

Nella got up this morning at 3am from her cough and soaking wet diaper, she whined and complained the entire time I changed her, something close to a wounded small animal.

I wasn't fast enough to get her stripped and rediapered and dressed before her dad woke up to ask "What's wrong with you?" I have to remind him that he can't just default to "What the Hell?!?" mode when they make noise in the middle of the night, he prefers that his sleep not be interrupted. I informed him that her allergies where bothering her and that she was soaked and he turned over and when back to sleep, lucky him. That was 2.5 hours ago...

I wonder what fresh insanity will begin at work today?
